Artisan Cuvee Black Tea

Even though date on the packages I received looked like I might be about to drink stale tea, they both smelled fresh and tasted complex.

This one is chocolately-floral, much like a Keemun to me. I also taste some fruitiness and a hint of malt or grain sweetness.

I really enjoyed the nuances when I tasted it hot and plain. I don’t recall any astringency, but to me, it had a hint of bitterness at the end of the sips once the tea stated to cool, the first time, when I drank it plain. This pairs well with milk and sugar, and that’s my favorite way to serve it so far.

The pricing was very reasonable.

It’s perfect for anytime during the day. Refreshing feeling soon.
